A proud native of St. Louis and die hard Cardinals baseball fan (just ask to see the license plate on his car!), he even had the opportunity to play Legion baseball while studying business at Florida State University. He’s celebrating his fourth year at Heartland after a brief hiatus in the great state of Arizona.

This month’s Employee Spotlight features Rich Weber, an effective leader and respected colleague that supports employee growth initiatives in his job as AVP, Retail Support Manager. He began his career as an Assistant Manager of the Dublin branch in 2004, and was hired by the bank’s founder, Tiney McComb. Over the last 12 years, Rich has learned the ins and outs of every retail position offered at Heartland and even boasts that he “was a Universal Banker before we had Universal Bankers!”

Raising a Glass to Toast Rockmill Brewery's Success

Five year old Rockmill Brewery, located on a former horse farm near Lancaster, sits on a gorgeous 20 acre property approximately 30 minutes from downtown Columbus. The farm was built in the 1870s and once was owned by Ohio Governor Thomas Worthington. The barn was recently refurbished and expanded and now serves as the brewery’s tasting room and dining room. The stables house the brewery. The idyllic grounds also include a pond and a small chapel.

During non-business hours, the space is available for holiday parties, corporate and private events. All Employee Meeting Donations to Lutheran Social Services

One of Heartland Bank’s ‘Shared Values’ states – ‘We are committed to the enrichment of our local communities through our involvement.”  Following in that tradition of support, employees rallied around the cause during the annual All Employee meeting on April 22 and donated  200+personal care items to the Lutheran Social Services Food Pantry, located near our Wilson Road branch in west Columbus.
